Wicked is probably the best musical I have ever seen. The story,the setting, the characters...and of course the music!! Absolutely fabulous!!!

Sorrow dug deeply into her heart like the claws of a tenacious raptor. The venomous hatred of her neighbors hung over her head like a fowl benighted smog. It choked the very life and the joy of life from her lungs like the smoke of a heavy fire.
Hers was a luminous heart, a radiant one, one that yearned for the depth of feeling that only open hearts and minds afforded.
But there was none to be found. No compassion, no charity, shown her way.
She was greeted with suspicion, met with prejudice, and treated with contempt and out right hatred.
But she would not give in to rage.
She would not surrender to hate.
Though magic was open to her, though curses could set her free...
...she refused to taint her heart and soul with their wicked ways...
